Aspara Pacific is a major New Zealand supplier of high health stock to the potato industry. Our plant tissue culture laboratory works in conjunction with leading potato seed merchants and growers to ensure the industry has the most modern varieties of high health potatoes.

New potato varieties from leading potato breeders around the world pass through strict quarantine at the Scottish Agricultural Science Laboratory in Edinburgh and arrive at Aspara Pacific's plant tissue culture laboratory.

Mother stock is then multiplied and either supplied as high health tissue cultures or planted out in quarantine greenhouses at Aspara Pacific's base at Lincoln. High health tubers are then multiplied and provided to growers at the top end of the New Zealand Seed Potato Certification Scheme.
